Miller® Maxstar® 280 TIG Welder With CPS 907538
The Miller® Maxstar® 280 TIG Welder with CPS (Cooler Power Supply) provides up to 280 amps of DC TIG arc and Stick arc welding output. At just 50 pounds, the Maxstar 280 can weld up to 3/8 inch steel, yet weight hundreds of pounds less than comparable welders in the same welding output class. The Maxstar 280 TIG welder provides the basic features that are required for most DC TIG or STICK welding applications using a simple, menu-driven interface. The 280 also has a built-in pulser capable of 0-250 PPS.

- Upgradeable and expandable. Front panel memory card data port provides the ability to easily upgrade software and expand product features.

- Meter calibration. Digital meters can be calibrated to a standard device for certification.
- Wind Tunnel Technology™ protects internal electrical components from airborne contaminates, extending the product life.
- Fan-On-Demand™ power source cooling system operates only when needed, reducing noise, energy use and the amount of contaminates pulled though the machine
- Thermal Overload Protection – Internal components are protected from damage by thermal overload protection which automatically shuts down the unit if duty cycle is exceeded or air flow and cooling are restricted.

- Stick-Stuck detects if the electrode is stuck to the part and turns the welding output off to safely and easily remove the electrode. Menu selectable.
