🔧 Lincoln Maverick® 260X (Kubota®) Diesel Welder K5272-1
The Lincoln Maverick® 260X (Kubota®) Diesel Welder K5272-1 is a compact yet powerful 300-amp engine-driven multi-process welding machine built for professional welders, contractors, and industrial job sites. Designed for portability, this diesel welder measures less than 43 inches long and fits easily onto work trucks or mobile welding setups. As a result, operators can transport reliable welding power to remote locations without sacrificing performance.
Equipped with advanced CrossLinc® technology, the Maverick® 260X communicates directly with compatible Lincoln CrossLinc wire feeders and remote controls through standard welding leads. Therefore, amperage and voltage adjustments can be made directly at the arc without using separate control cables. Consequently, welders spend less time returning to the machine, which improves productivity, enhances safety, and streamlines workflow efficiency.
In addition, the welder features a durable 4.6-inch digital user interface that simplifies machine setup and process selection. Maintenance reminders and system monitoring tools help operators keep the machine running at peak performance. Moreover, specialized stick welding modes and direct-connect spool gun circuitry with pulsed MIG capabilities provide exceptional versatility across multiple welding applications. Because of this, users achieve consistent arc performance and high-quality weld results across different materials and environments.
Power is supplied by a dependable Kubota® Z602 two-cylinder diesel engine delivering 16.8 horsepower while meeting EPA Tier 4 Final emissions standards. Furthermore, Auto Start/Stop technology automatically shuts the engine down during inactivity and restarts it when welding resumes. As a result, fuel consumption decreases, engine wear is reduced, and jobsite noise levels remain lower.
The Maverick® 260X also produces 9,000 watts of continuous single-phase AC auxiliary power. Additionally, this built-in generator allows operators to power tools, lighting, and equipment directly from the machine. Therefore, it becomes a complete welding and power solution for demanding field environments such as maintenance operations, pipeline welding, structural fabrication, and power generation projects.
